We are a wide community. We come from the same place, but our lives in the UK look very different. Some of us arrived last month. Some of us have been here for years. Some of us have families, some are alone. Some have papers, some are still waiting.
And because we are so different, our needs are different too. Some of us are looking for work — but can't find it. Some need a room, a home, or someone to help with a job. And most of us need advice — real advice, from people who have already been through what we're going through.
The problem we saw
We looked around. We saw what was already there. Pages on social media. Old websites. Groups with thousands of members. But every single one of them had the same problem: they wanted money.
Want to post that you're looking for work? Pay first. Want to post that you need a worker? Pay first. Want to ask a simple question? Pay first. And if you didn't pay — nobody saw your post. It disappeared into nothing.
Some platforms didn't even let you post at all. No answer. No explanation. Just silence. You sit there with a real problem — and no one to ask.
So we decided to change it
All4Alb was built with one simple idea: every one of us has the right to ask for help. No fees. No middlemen. No "premium" plans. Just a place where you can post what you need — and someone in the community will see it.
Whether you're looking for work, looking for a worker, looking for a home, or just need advice from someone who's been there — this is your space. Post it. It's free. Always will be.
One rule — and only one
To keep this place useful for everyone, we ask just one thing: post in the right section.
If you're looking for a worker, post in Find Workers. If you're looking for a job, post in Find a Job. If you're looking for a home or room, post in Homes. If you need advice or want to share your experience, post in Advice.
Posts placed in the wrong section will be removed without discussion. That's the only rule. Everything else — the respect, the kindness, the help — comes from us. From the community.
Built with love,
The All4Alb team
